The Rotation · last updated October 29, 2026

The Rotation is a private outfit picker with a single user. It is not offered to the public and has no ads or tracking.

What it stores

Your garment photos, the details of each garment, the outfits you log as worn and your settings (including a home location for the weather, if you set one). They are stored in the app's own Supabase database and private file storage, and only your signed-in account can read them.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, the app reads today's event titles and descriptions, read-only, to decide whether the day is Normal or Dressed up. It stores only an encrypted refresh token and your Google email address. It never writes to your calendar and never shares calendar data with anyone. Disconnecting in Settings deletes the token and asks Google to revoke access.

Other services

To write the one-line reason for an outfit, the app sends the garment names and, when known, the kind of day and the weather to Anthropic's API. If you set a home location, its coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to get the forecast. Nothing else is shared, and nothing is sold.

Your data

You can download everything the app stores about you, or delete your account and all of it, in Settings.
